Vucic: We’re ready to sign the agreement on the missing, Pristina is the one blocking the dialogue

„I believe in the peacefulness and patience of our people, however, at the same time I am positive that they (cf. Kosovo authorities) will not attempt more serious actions against our people, at least not at this moment,“ the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said.

When asked by a Most TV journalist in Belgrade today to comment on the KLA flag being displayed in North Mitrovica, as the Kosovo Office announced last night, the Serbian president said that he had not heard anything about it, but that he would look into it immediately after the conference.

Recalling the recent statement of the EU spokesman, Peter Stano, that Belgrade’s and Pristina’s lack readiness for dialogue, Vucic said that Serbia is even ready to sign the agreement on missing persons.

„Once again, I am officially informing you that Pristina is the one that does not want dialogue,“ Vucic pointed out.

He stressed that even when Pristina agrees to something in Brussels, as was the case with the visits of high officials, it does not respect it on the ground, thus alluding to the fact that the head of the Kosovo Office, Petar Petkovic, was recently not allowed to enter Kosovo for the second time in a month.

Many officials from Pristina entered the territory of central Serbia, we did not cause them any trouble. They promise and say that Petar Petkovic can come, and then they won’t let him into the territory controlled by Pristina. I guess they want to show how strong and almighty they are, and how they can get away with everything – Vucic said.

On the other hand, Pristina has recently alerted that Belgrade did not allow the Kosovo boxing team to participate in the recent championship in Belgrade, as well as preventing four Kosovo ministers, who were planning to visit Albanian-majority municipalities in Presevo, Bujanovac, and Medvedja in the south of Serbia, from entering central Serbia.
