As soon as I have anything to say, I will say it to the people in Serbia, the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic said, speaking about the solution on the Kosovo issue.
„And I would do that even with all the problems and the suffering that this issue brings with it. I would say it in the hope that we have something for the future. I can’t say that. We have nothing,“ Vucic stressed.
In an interview with TV Prva on Friday, the Serbian President commented on the speculations, that is, the accusations presented by the outgoing Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti that the Serbian president and his Kosovo counterpart have already agreed on the fate of Kosovo, as well as that this is clear to the US envoy for Kosovo – Richard Grenell.
„I did not have a serious conversation with Hashim Thaci, I do not remember the last time I did that,“ he said, denying the existence of such agreement.
„We are not talking with them. I hope that there will be someone in Pristina with whom we will be able to talk,“ Vucic said.
Instead of talks, he recalled the atmosphere in Pristina:
„They are fighting each other so fiercely that it doesn’t matter who says what anymore, that they are willing to accuse each other of the most terrible things, but I am not interested in that. I will not get into it.“
Vucic described the speculations that there is an agreement between him and Thaci as „conspirational absurd theories“, adding that Kurti said that because of Thaci – not because of Vucic.
