The Journalists’ Association of Serbia (UNS), through its Kosovo branch is requesting the Kosovo police and the Prosecutor’s Office determine who is behind the attacks on the sites, which were shut down on January 19th, of the Medija Centar Caglavica and the „Slobodno Srpski“ talk-show, the presenter of which is also the UNS president of Kosovo branch, Budimir Nicic. The sites were shut down the day after the Journalists’ Association of Serbia in Kosovo posthumously awarded the „Beli Bozur“ award to Oliver Ivanovic for the best cooperation with the media and journalists.

The „Beli Bozur“ (White Peony) award was also received by the head of the OSCE Mission to Kosovo, Jan Braathu, and the “Crni Bozur” (Black Peony) recognition for the worst co-operation with the media was awarded to Srpska Lista.

The „Slobodno Srpski“ site was also hacked four times in three days at the end of January last year. The site was then shut down the day before and the day after an interview with the president of the Civic Initiative “For Our Zvecan” Dragisa Milovic, in which the murder of Oliver Ivanovic was the main topic.

Budimir Nicic said that that he managed to recover the site of the „Slobodno Srpski” show today and that the attack will be reported to the police.
