The PDK candidate for the position of North Mitrovica mayor, Gonxhe Caushi, reacted to Adriana Hodzic’s appointment as the Minister of Local Government Administration, claiming that Hodzic was “a supporter of Srpska Lista,” the Pristina-based Gazeta Express reported.
Caushi harshly criticized Hodzic’s appointment on her Facebook page, warning that it will “do harm to Mitrovica and Kosovo.”
„Adriana Hodzic was appointed today by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj as a minister in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. In the last decade, the lady in question was seen as a supporter of Srpska Lista and as someone who worked with them to prevent Albanians from returning to their property and rebuilding the burned houses. This appointment will only do harm to Mitrovica and Kosovo,“ Caushi wrote on Facebook.
The Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj appointed the head of the North Mitrovica Municipal Administration, Adriana Hodzic as the Minister of Local Government Administration today.
Hodzic was appointed following the dismissal of the minister from the ranks of Srpska Lista, Ivan Todosijevic earlier this week. Todosijevic was dismissed by Haradinaj because of a statement he made on the Racak case.
