„The new leadership of Srpska Lista represents only a cosmetic change and serves only internal politics, especially for the north of Kosovo, in order to deceive the people because some doctors are now at the head of SL, and the situation is not as it was before – when a fireman and a waiter with doctorates were in charge, all so that they could manage to draw people out to participate in some possible new Kosovo elections,“ said Dejan Nedeljković, civic activist, in a statement for KoSSev.
Nedeljković emphasized that no one is ready to participate in new Kosovo elections in the north „after everything“ that happened.
„Especially after three of our fellow citizens were killed, because they will say – ‘there, we got rid of those members who were bad, now we brought in new people,'“ he said, adding:
„Not to mention that there is only a group of people left in the north who trust doctors, because they need them for treatment and have confidence in them.“
Compared to this generation, Nedeljković warns that the new generations are threatened by the current situation.
„Unfortunately, after the barricades from a year ago, the chaos caused by Kurti and the latest incidents in Banjska, there are almost no young people anymore, because the wives and children also went away along with the men,“ Nedeljković points out.
„Therefore, in essence, the cosmetic change does not change anything in the performance of the SL. Their former vice-president of the party will still be at the helm regarding its work, as well as personnel decisions, as is the case in Serbia – Vučević is the president of the SNS, and it is well known that Vučič makes all the decisions,“ Nedeljković concluded.
Following the resignation of Milan Radoičić from the post of vice-president of the party, after he took responsibility for the attack and conflict in Banjska with the Kosovo police in which a policeman was killed, as well as at least three alleged attackers, Srpska Lista made several personnel changes today.
The director of the North Mitrovica Hospital Center, Zlatan Elek, has been named the new president of Srpska Lista, replacing entrepreneur and lecturer Goran Rakić. The new vice presidents include Dragiša Milović, former mayor of the municipality of Zvečan, Ivan Zaporožac, the president of the Provisional Authority of the Municipality of Kosovska Mitrovica as of Friday and director of the School Administration for Kosovo and Metohija, the mayor of Štrpce, Dalibor Jevtić, Tanja Vujović, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Dragana Antonijević, director of Student center.
