Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin said that he was pleased that the US administration has realized that the solution for Kosovo could not be achieved by interfering. Vulin said that he was pleased that the US realized that the agreement by the two sides was the only viable solution.
Vulin also said that he supports the idea of delimitation because it is the only way to stop the creation of „Greater Albania“, but he did not want to say what the term delimitation implies.
„Slow down, I cannot tell the public now what should be in the negotiations, that’s a matter for the negotiators,“ Vulin told reporters in Belgrade while presenting apartment keys to members of the army.
Welcoming the statement by the US President’s adviser John Bolton that the US does not exclude territorial adjustments if such an agreement is reached by Belgrade and Pristina, Vulin pointed out that the US realized that an agreement is the only viable solution.
„Any imposed solution will sooner or later cause conflicts, wars, and divisions. If we make a deal, and the international community accepts it, it would be a viable solution that would lead to the stability in the Balkans,“ Vulin said.
