Director for South Central European Affairs at the US Department of State, Matthew Palmer, is expected to visit Kosovo today. Palmer will stop in Pristina after visiting Belgrade on Thursday.
During his visit to Pristina, The US diplomat will meet Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. The Prime Minister’s Office announced that the meeting will take place at 15 h.
Matthew Palmer has on Thursday visited Serbia when he met senior state officials, including President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic, and Director of Serbia’s Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric.
According to Belgrade media, Vucic and Palmer agreed that normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina is of a great importance not only for the EU integration process, but also for the stability of the region and welfare and prosperity of both nations.
