The Deputy Director at the Kosovo Office, Dusan Kozarev was forced to leave Kosovo today – the Kosovo Office announced.

Kozarev was stopped on the road between Ranilug and Novo Brdo and then escorted to Konculj on the grounds that „the representatives of the state bodies of Serbia are not welcome in the Kosovo elections“.

„Kozarev was supposed to attend one of Srpska Lista’s pre-election rallies today and convey the message of unity between the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and the state of Serbia. Kosovo police are also trying to apprehend the Assistant Director at the Kosovo Office, Petar Petkovic, who went to Plemetina for the same purpose,“ the Kosovo Office said, assessing today’s events as “Pristina’s violent acts.”

„In this way, the Kosovo police have directly placed themselves in the service of politics – in the interest of political entities who are, with Albanian support, competing with Srpska Lista for the ten parliamentary seats in the parliament of the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina which are guaranteed for Kosovo Serbs” – the statement said.

They warned the perpetrators of such actions that they will be held responsible when they can be reached by the Serbian judicial authorities.

According to the Kosovo Office, despite such acts, the Serbian people will „vote unanimously“ on October 6th.

All international bodies will be informed of this incident, the Kosovo Office concluded.
