The second public auction for a family house with adjoining land in North Mitrovica, owned by the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo and Metohija, will be held on April 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the employees of this institution announced.
The building was placed on a public auction on March 9th, however, not a single buyer came forward at the time. As a result, the employees decided to organize another auction, and the starting price of the house has been reduced by 50%.
The employees of the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo and Metohija decided to take this step because, as they claim, they have not received wages for more than five years, despite the fact that they have repeatedly reached out to the President of Serbia, the Head of the Kosovo Office, and the Prime Minister.
They sent the last letter in November last year when some of these employees filed lawsuits. They are forced, they say, to collect on the amount due by listing and selling the property owned by the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo and Metohija.
The building is actually a residential house, while the estimated value of the land is 16,071,925 dinars. The starting price for this auction is 8,035,925 dinars.
The new auction will take place from 9 am to 3 pm, and bids can be submitted until 1 p.m.

Only registered users of the www.eaukcija.gov.rs portal can participate as bidders.
The bid bond is 15% of the estimated value of the house and the bidders must submit it no later than two days before the start of the bidding, that is, by April 9. Payment is made on the account of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia.
After depositing the bid bond, interested parties should submit an online application and attach proof of payment, in order to receive a unique identification number for participation.
