The members of the Kosovo delegation are standing in corners and sitting on footstools in the UN headquarters in New York, Serbia’s Foreign Minister said on Tuesday, during the UN General Assembly meeting, media reported.
Ivica Dacic added, “they (Kosovo officials) are not here, they don’t have the same passes as the UN members.”
He said that the Pristina delegation came to the UN HQ with Department of Peacekeeping Operations’ passes, but that that didn’t give them access to the meetings’ halls.
“They do that every year, it’s an abuse of status, but no use of it. I think that everyone has already seen through it, that everybody knows what is it about, that they have made a big mistake by recognising Kosovo and that many are now regretting the decision and considering its annulment,” Dacic said.
Kosovo’s President, Hashim Thaci is also in New York, while Pristina’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli surprised Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic when he walked up to her while she was making a statement to the media on the sidelines of the UN GA session.
