Police found KIA Chief’s son with illegal weapons and drugs in his possession

Kosovo police searched the son of Kosovo Intelligence Agency chief Shpend Maxhuni’s and the vehicle he was driving two weeks ago seizing an illegal weapon and a rolled cigarette suspected of being narcotics, Gazeta Express reported on Saturday. It was only when part of the Kosovo media reported the news yesterday that it was followed by a police’s media release explaining on the details.

Sh. M., born in 1998 drove the vehicle on October 12, in the village of Zlatar, when it was halted by a regular police patrol at around 21:05h.

A „Zastava“ branded gun with a clip holding four bullets of 6.35 mm size, and a POHL-FORCE knife were seized, but also a rolled cigarette suspected of being a narcotic, and a grinder were seized as well.

The case is continuing as per the regular court procedure.
