A Pristina Court sentenced a 24 year old man to time in jail for supporting the Islamic State (ISIS) on social networks, the KoSSev news portal reported on Friday.
The court sentenced Berat Qamili to six months in prison for disseminating material supporting ISIS, lawyer Gazmend Ismaili told Radio Free Europe.
Qamili, a Mitrovica resident, was indicted in January 2018 for engagement in a foreign military formation outside Kosovo. Ismaili said that his client entered a guilty plea. Qamili was arrested in 2017 and sentenced to three months of house arrest.
