The former Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister, Enver Hoxhaj today accused Serbian state security structures of allegedly attacking the Kosovo Consulate in Copenhagen on Wednesday.

„The attack on our consulate in Denmark, at first it seemed to be an attack by sports hooligans, but it turned out to be a planned act by Serbian state security structures! This is a new dimension to the crackdown on Kosovo’s sovereignty,” Hoxhaj tweeted.

Earlier this morning, Pristina-based Koha published the news – „Serbian BIA is behind the attack on the Kosovo Consulate in Copenhagen.“

Citing RTV Dukagjin sources, the newspaper wrote that „the attack was carried out by hooligans, fans of the Crvena Zvezda football club, which was ordered by Serbian Intelligence Agency – BIA“. The same news further reads that „the head of the Serbian secret service, Bojan Dimic is one of the leaders of the Crvena Zvezda club,“ and that he “posted videos and photos on his Facebook profile boasting about the club he supports.”

„Kosovo media previously reported that the head of BIA, Bojan Dimic occasionally visits Pristina. He is a Russophile of sorts, an ardent supporter of Aleksandar Vucic, and he is involved in the underground crime scene in the north, along with Milan Radoicic and Zvonko Veselinovic,“ Koha reported.

Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli announced that the Kosovo Consulate in Denmark was attacked early Wednesday morning, claiming that „Serbian bandits and hooligans“ are standing behind it. On the other hand, his Serbian counterpart, Ivica Dacic said on Thursday that he has no information on the matter.
