Following the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic’s daily warnings about possible attacks on Serbs in the north of Kosovo, the Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic announced a „blitzkrieg“ today and sent a warning to NATO that the Serbian army will intervene in the defense of Serbs.

„Serbia will not allow an attack on Serbs in the north of Kosovo. Of course, not just the north of Kosovo, in the entire Kosovo, as they have an obsession with the north of Kosovo now. And they are trying to create this blitzkrieg as they did in Republika Srpska. They, however, had the support of Western countries at the time, now the big question is what is in whose interest,“ Dacic stated today.

When asked whether people should be afraid, Dacic emphasized that one should be „practical“, and that the main advantage over „opponents“ is the ability to predict events and prepare.

„We warned NATO and KFOR that our army would intervene if Serbs were attacked,“ Dacic warned.

He said that it is important for Serbia to be united, adding that it is the only way it can reject „all possible thoughts of someone attacking Serbia“.
