„The National Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija Otadzbina“ announced today that they allegedly received threats to give up on the “1 out of 5 million” protest planned to be held tomorrow in North Mitrovica.

„Threats to give up on the ‘1 of 5 million’ protest because it ‘will not do them good’ were sent to Slavisa Ristic and Marko Jaksic through the President of the Provisional Council of the municipality of Zubin Potok, Srdjan Vulovic. Srdjan Vulovic said that this message was conveyed from above. In other words, from Aleksandar Vucic,“ ‘Otadzbina’ wrote in a statement.

This opposition movement claimed that Vulovic is allegedly performing multiple functions and that, in addition to being the President of the Provisional Council of the municipality of Zubin Potok, he is also the president of the management board of the regional water supply company Kosovska Mitrovica, the director of hydroelectric power plant Gazivode, the owner of the private company Kolasin-transport and “the fierce defender of the treacherous regime in Belgrade.”

The local activists from the opposition movement „Otadzbina“, founders of the Alliance for Serbia, Dragan Djilas and Slavisa Ristic, accompanied by Dr. Marko Jaksic, and Dr. Aleksandar Corac visited Leposavic yesterday where a group of about 20 young men caused a verbal incident.

KoSSev was unable to get in contact with Srdjan Vulovic prior to this news been published.

‘Otadzbina’ claimed that President Aleksandar Vucic is responsible for this incident, at whose initiative the people of “Zoran Milojevic – Zelja, a member of the executive committee of the Serbian Progressive Party“, organized a verbal attack in Leposavic. Milojevic denied these allegations to KoSSev, claiming that he did not know about the visit.

This movement also wrote that the President of Serbia will be “held responsible for all possible new incidents,” especially for potential incidents that could arise during tomorrow’s protest in North Mitrovica.

They also recalled that the premises of this movement were “set on fire last year“.
