The dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels will to continue on 22nd June and the Presidents are supposed to meet on the 24th, it was confirmed today the two Presidents and the EU.
„I also got an official call, although we knew, for a month now, the time when we would meet. So the Serbian delegation will definitely go, it will be present in Brussels from Friday, which is not so attractive to the media, and on Sunday, I will probably meet with Thaci,“ Vucic said while addressing reporters in Belgrade, after meeting with children from Croatia.
„Serbia has never set conditions for dialogue. We have always been ready to talk, this dialogue will begin sometime soon, on Friday. We will see whether it will be extended beyond Sunday because there were more ideas,“ he added.
„I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic, it is our job to protect the interests of our people, we are ready to talk,“ he concluded.
RTS has previously specified that a round of technical dialogue will be held prior to the meeting of Thaci and Vucic.
In the meantime, Thaci also confirmed that he will travel to Brussels on Sunday, Klan Kosova reported.
„We confirmed the participation of Kosovo. We will meet to intensify the process of dialogue for reaching the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia,“ said Thaci.
„Our teams will meet tomorrow, and a presidency meeting will be held on Sunday,“ he added.
In the meantime EEAS confirmed the meeting of the two presidents with Federica Mogherini:
„The High Representative and the Presidents will continue their work on the comprehensive normalisation phase of the Dialogue, take stock of existing agreements, inform of achievements to date as well as discuss the next steps in view of an intensive period ahead.“
The last meeting between Thaci and Vucic was held on March 23rd.
