Private phones of several Serbian politicians and businessmen from Kosovo have been attacked by a malware virus, RTK reported.
The hacker attack, most likely under orders from Belgrade, was conducted from a city in Romania, RTK broadcast.
These type of attacks are mainly done to take private information contained in phones. After that, information or photos are used to threaten the owners of the phone.
RTK journalists talked with some of those people whose phones were hacked and confirmed that they received threatening messages, aimed at Belgrade regaining its influence over them and other Serbs living in Kosovo.
