Srpska Lista Vice-President, Milan Radoicic gave an exclusive statement, both in Albanian and Serbian language, for the highest-rated Kosovo television show in the Albanian language. Radoicic previously refused to talk to Serbian media.
„I will tell you, I met with both of them and I also met with others. They all promised a lot to Serbs to be on their side, and not with others. But we cannot step on the vital interests of Serbs, that’s all I can tell you,“ Radoicic told Pristina-based broadcaster Klan Kosova today.
Radoicic’s statement comes in the wake of Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj telling the Kosovo public that he and Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci met with Radoicic in Thaci’s cabinet, and Thaci’s remark, at least as it was interpreted in the public, that Haradinaj is “a friend of Radoicic.” Additionally, the Kosovo President claimed that he “banished” Radoicic from Kosovo.
Milan Radoicic has so far refused to speak to media in the Serbian. He also recently did not answer a question for our portal.
The Vice-President of Srpska Lista, Milan Radoicic is seen in the public as the most influential official of Srpska Lista. He avoided arrest by the special Kosovo police forces in North Mitrovica on November 23rd last year. The Special Prosecution of Kosovo issued a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of involvement in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic. In the meantime, new charges were added against him, including charges of organized crime and drug smuggling. On the other hand, he is attending meetings with the Serbian state leadership, led by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and he was recently elected president of the “FA Kosovo and Metohija”. The president and government officials previously claimed that Radoicic was not involved in Ivanovic’s murder, that he had passed a polygraph test and that he is “the guardian of Serb-hood in the north of Kosovo.”
