Unknown persons slashed the tires of five vehicles owned by Kosovo Albanians during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday in North Mitrovica, the Kosovo Police confirmed in their 24-hour report.

The incident took place in Kolasinska Street, which is located along the Ibar River and inhabited by both Serbs and Albanians.

According to the police report, the police “arrived quickly to the scene of the crime” and “launched an investigation”.

However, no further details were provided.

This is the second incident this week in North Mitrovica. In another multi-ethnic district – Bosniak Mahala, the words „UCK“, „Fu*k SRB“, „Bosniak“ were inscribed for the third time, with a marker, on the official vehicle of the “Kosovska Mitrovica” pharmacy. One of the marks was also „B-13“ – the name of the group that is (allegedly) known for drawing graffiti in the Bosniak Mahala area containing ethnic messages aimed against the Serbs.
