Today, a thirty-four-year-old man of Serbian nationality, identified as S.M., from Zvečan, was arrested at the Jarinje crossing. Kosovan authorities charged him with participation in clashes that occurred last year outside the municipal building in Zvečan.
Although initially called to provide legal assistance, lawyer Nebojša Vlajić faced complications as he already represents another defendant in the same case.
Consequently, the case was taken over by lawyer Jelena Krivokapić.
Srpska lista vehemently condemns the arrest, labeling it a result of systematic oppression of the Serbian people.
They demand S.M.’s release and emphasized the need for an international response to protect the rights of the accused and ensure the presumption of innocence.
