A man, identified as a foreign national, sought medical assistance at the Health Center in Djakovica after sustaining injuries caused by a sharp object.
The incident was reported this morning by the Kosovo Police, who stated that it took place last night at around 8 p.m.
According to the police, the man suffered two wounds believed to have been inflicted with a sharp object. After receiving initial medical treatment, he was transferred to the Clinical Hospital Center for further care.
No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident have been made public at this time.
Meanwhile, Facebook pages Mitropol and Jepi Ze – based in South Mitrovica – reported this morning that the injured man is allegedly an official of the European Union in Kosovo.
The same claims were echoed by the news portal Sinjali, which identified the victim as a 49-year-old man with the initials S.I.Sh., allegedly enjoying diplomatic immunity.
