A 15-year-old boy was detained yesterday in North Mitrovica after being spotted wearing a sweatshirt bearing the inscription “Žandarmerija” (Gendarmerie) and a Serbian emblem on the back, the Kosovo Police confirmed for KoSSev.
Police spokesperson Erduan Baliqi said that the minor, identified by his initials V. M. (born in 2010), was brought in around 3 p.m.
Following his detention, he was taken to the police station, where he was fined for disturbing public order and peace, Baliqi stated.
A financial penalty of €300 was issued, and the teenager was released immediately afterward.
