The Kosovo Ministry of Infrastructure officials – the director of the Road Transport Department, Xheme Veseli, and the director of the Road Infrastructure Department, Rame Qupeva will head the Kosovo delegation in today’s negotiations with Belgrade on railway traffic, Pristina-based Koha reported.

By the decision of the Kosovo Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, the Kosovo delegation will be headed by Veseli, while Qupeva will be a member. Veseli himself will be able to seek the help of other officials and advisers.

The head of the Kosovo Office, Marko Djuric will be on the other side of the negotiating table, Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic confirmed last night on the “Hit Tvit” talk-show on TV Pink.

Serb President Aleksandar Vucic and Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina peace talks, Richard Grenell announced on Friday that the negotiations on the establishment of a Belgrade-Pristina rail line would be taking place.

The Grenell-sponsored negotiations are being held at the US Embassy in Berlin, and the role of the sponsors – specifically the Office of the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security – is not yet visible in the public.
