Ahead of the upcoming large student gathering in Belgrade, a delegation from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade visited North Mitrovica, where they met with fellow students from the University of Pristina.

During the visit, the Belgrade students personally delivered an invitation for the rally scheduled for March 15. The visit was confirmed on the Instagram page of the student group organizing the “15 Minutes of Silence” actions, which also supports student blockades across central Serbia.

Among those who welcomed the delegation was student and aphorist Jovan Zafirović.

„A group of students from the University of Pristina, temporarily based in Kosovska Mitrovica, who have been regularly organizing gatherings, welcomed their colleagues from Belgrade and received the invitation,“ Zafirović stated in a Facebook post.

Meanwhile, students from the University of Pristina have once again partnered with a local transport company to provide free transportation for students and citizens planning to attend the major student protest in Belgrade on March 15. As in previous instances, the bus service will be operated by Joe Travel.

The departure is scheduled for Friday, March 14, at 6:50 a.m. from the North Mitrovica Bus Station, with a return trip set for Saturday, March 15, at 11:45 p.m. from the Belgrade Fair.

Additionally, the same student group will hold another “15 Minutes of Silence” event tomorrow in memory of the victims in Novi Sad. The gathering is set to take place at 11:52 a.m. at the city square near the monument to Prince Lazar, following the format of previous events.
