A group suspected of organized drug trafficking arrested, including a man from Pec

D.P. (1981) from Pec was arrested along with five other men for organized drug trafficking, the Serbia MIA announced today. During the operation, the police seized over 15,000 euros, a pistol, ammunition and more than 7kg of marijuana.

In addition to D.P., K. N. (1991) from Sombor, V.N. (1979), R. D. (1974), P. Z. (1979), K. P. (1973) from Subotica were also arrested. The place of detention was not specified.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Internal Affairs states that there is suspicion that this group has dealt with the supply and packaging of narcotics in the territory of Serbia, which were then distributed to countries in the European Union, for a long period of time.

The suspects are also charged with joining a criminal gang and carrying out criminal offenses – unauthorized production, marketing of narcotics, unauthorized production of drugs, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.

Members of the MIA – from the Service for Combating Organized Crime, carried out the arrest operation in cooperation with the Security and Information Agency and the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime.
