A Dubai Charity Association is to build its first mosque ever at Malisevo in Kosovo, The Khaleej Times reported.
„The designs and blueprints of the mosque, to serve an area of some 3,000 residents, are ready for implementation,“ said Ahmad Mohammed Mismaar, Secretary General of the Dubai Charity Association.
The move is aimed, he further explained – to „highlight the role of the UAE founding father in terms of his voluntary and humanitarian work“ and in order to mark the Zayed Humanitarian Day (in memory of deceased Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan).
„This also reflects the solidarity among all members of society, and helps spread and promote the culture of humanitarian initiatives everywhere as advised by Islam and is urged by the prudent leadership,“ Mismaar added.
