Police seized a large number of weapons from an Albanian man and woman and then released them.
Although a large number of weapons were found in the possession of a man and woman in Pristina, who were initially arrested on Friday morning, they were released following a decision by the prosecutor’s office. The Kosovo police, however, in its daily 24-hour report did not specify the prosecutor’s motive for such a decision.
Kosovo police arrested two people yesterday- a man and a woman, of Kosovo Albanian ethnicity, and seized an AK-47 rifle with 147 bullets, a gun with 58 bullets, 6 hand grenades, an empty ammunition belt and equipment for cleaning weapons from their house.
Although initially detained as suspects, they were released following a regular court hearing.
Other details of this case have not been announced.
