Thirty-one people were taken into custody on suspicion of prostitution during the Kosovo Police operation, the police announced today.
The operation was carried out yesterday and led to the arrest of 29 men and two women – all ethnic Kosovo Albanians. Four other suspects were identified who are currently believed to be out of the country, Kosovo Police stated.
The location of the police operation was not announced. Kosovo police specified that the request for the initiation of a criminal procedure at the Basic Court in Pristina or the Minor Offenses Division was submitted against all suspects.
