In the last six months, the campaign to „stigmatize Serbia“ launched by certain foreign power centers and parts of the region, which consistently perceive the failure and collapse of Serbia as their success, has accelerated, the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, alerted today. Vucic assessed that Albin Kurti and Milo Djukanovic play the most prominent role in „open and naked hatred towards everything Serbian.“
According to Vucic, it is clear that these two officials „always use untruths and open lies in order to present themselves as victims“ and Serbia as „an evil aggressor who threatens them in every and any way possible“.
As an example of such behavior, the Serb president cited the reaction of the Prime Minister of Kosovo and the President of Montenegro regarding, as he claims, the legal, legitimate, fully regular, and transparent purchase of Chinese weapons – the FK-3 system.
He stressed that this is a defensive weapon, the procurement of which Kurti and Djukanovic used to claim „that we are Chinese and Russian allies who threaten peace in the region, even though we are fully surrounded by NATO territories.“
„How we are endangering them with defensive weapons – they cannot say. That system serves to destroy cruise missiles and enemy aviation which could violate Serbia’s airspace. I wonder – how are we endangering Pristina or Podgorica with it?“
„We would be better off buying Autan sprays because it is much more important for us to protect ourselves from swarms of flies and mosquitoes, than from any serious air forces they possess,“ the president joked.
Jokes aside, Kurti and Djukanovic want Serbia to be weak or to „harm Serbia and always present it as the culprit,“ the president underlined.
Addressing the allegations of the Kosovo Prime Minister „that Serbia is panicking because it is afraid that it will be left alone,“ the president stated:
„Today, Serbia, as a militarily neutral country, is alone in the entire wider region, but I want to remind him of something, you can see lions, elephants, and tigers in the circus, but never a lone wolf.“
There are plenty of „magnificent animals“ in the Balkans, Vucic says, noting that he would always rather accept the role of a lone wolf than of „shameless and immoral hyenas, regardless of how many there may be – three, five, six, and sometimes even 19“.
„Even worse than hyenas, to which you have to pay homage to at least for their bloodthirstiness, is to be a blowfly buzzing around them and waiting for hyenas, such as Albin Kurti and Milo Djukanovic, to bring some prey,“ Vucic emphasized.
According to him, this duo has much bigger worries than the armament of Serbia, such as “crime, corruption and many, many economic problems.”
But that’s not something I want to get involved with – he adds.
„Leave Serbia alone, stop lying, and deceiving the public. Serbia will find its way, the one its citizens desire. Don’t be angry – we are proud of the fact that we want to protect our country on our own, and not let NATO do it on our behalf. That’s the difference between us, and we are not ashamed of that,“ Vucic told Kurti and Djukanovic.
