Serbian representatives from Kosovo and the Serbian government will hold a joint session tomorrow, the head of the Kosovo Office Marko Djuric announced. It is expected that the most comprehensive package of assistance and support to the Serbian people in Kosovo will be approved during this session, he added.
Djuric told TV Prva that this package will help with the renovation of clinical centres, roads, hospitals, schools and other institutions in Kosovo.
„I must say that as the head of the Kosovo Office, I am satisfied, happy and proud that there is such support in Belgrade for the Serbian people in Kosovo,“ he said.
He added that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is using „every opportunity and every conversation with world leaders to draw attention to international law, the interests of Serbia and the desire to find a compromise solution“.
Djuric recalled that ASM (The Association of Serb Municipalities) has not been formed yet and that in each conversation with foreign interlocutors on this issue “it becomes clear to everyone that the arguments are on the Serbian side”.
He said that the relationship between Belgrade and Moscow is one of „trust, friendship and love“, adding that the „seriousness and depth“ of these relations is proved by the fact that the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has met with the Russian President Vladimir Putin 14 times.
