Today, after nearly six months of absence, members of the Srpska Lista (Serb List) returned to the Kosovo Assembly, but their appearance led to the disruption of the session. Assembly President Glauk Konjufca criticized them, accusing them of boycotting and misusing taxpayer money, and called them traitors for supporting actions against Kosovo. He also mocked them, saying, “Go stand still for criminal Radoičić.”
The Serb List MPs had been attending sessions every six months to maintain their mandates but had previously left shortly after verifying their attendance. Their brief return led to tension as the ruling Self-Determination Movement (LVV) attempted to prevent them from entering, accusing them of failing to distance themselves from attacks in northern Kosovo. The session was briefly halted, and the Serb List MPs were instructed to leave.
The Kosovo Assembly session continued without the presence of the Serb List MPs. Meanwhile, Milan Kostić, a member of the Serb List, held a press conference in Gračanica, claiming that they were almost thrown out of the Assembly and subjected to verbal abuse by members of the Self-Determination Movement (Vetevendosje). He said they were called terrorists and insulted in various ways, with even a pregnant woman being targeted by the insults.
Kostić criticized the treatment of the Serb List MPs, arguing that they were denied their right to represent the people who elected them. He accused Assembly President Glauk Konjufca of breaking the law when he expelled them, claiming that this was not just an attack on the Serb List, but on the entire Serbian population.
Kostić also noted that, despite their appeals to the law, they were not allowed to attend the session. When asked by journalists about their planned address to the Assembly, Kostić did not respond directly.
The incident was condemned by Petar Petković from the Serbian government, who labeled it as part of a „Kurti plan“ to eliminate the Serb List. The Serb List responded, calling it a direct attack on the Serbian people and accusing Kurti of attempting to rid Kosovo of Serbs who resist his policies.

The Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) criticized both the Serb List’s boycott of the Assembly and the illegal actions of Konjufca, emphasizing that the Assembly should represent the interests of all citizens, including non-majority communities. They warned that the boycott weakens legislative efficiency, particularly for laws requiring a double majority.
The KDI also noted that Konjufca’s actions violated constitutional mandates, while the Serb List defended their actions as a means to oppose the government’s policies.
Meanwhile, some Kosovo media reported that the Serb List managed to verify its mandates after all.
