In a recent statement, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani declared that Pristina will not revisit discussions regarding the construction of the bridge in Mitrovica as part of the dialogue with Belgrade, despite calls from the European Union and KFOR for renewed talks. Instead, Kosovo is willing to coordinate with KFOR, Osmani emphasized.
Addressing the events that transpired in Banjska on September 24 of the previous year, President Osmani, in an interview with Radio Free Europe, alleged that the attack was ordered by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. She asserted that she has „reliable information“ confirming his involvement and claimed that NATO partners are also well aware of this.
