Three police officers sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident this morning in Zubin Potok, KoSSev has confirmed.
The officers were in a police vehicle that, according to Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Police for the North, Veton Elshani, likely slid off the road due to icy conditions and overturned onto its roof.
„The accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. this morning. The vehicle slid off the road and overturned onto its roof near Varage. The roads were icy, and frost caused them to lose control of the vehicle,“ Elshani explained.
This marks the second traffic accident involving the Kosovo Police in the northern region in recent days. Exactly one week ago, a Special Unit armored vehicle went off the road in Grabovac, located in the municipality of Zvecan. In that incident, eight officers were injured, most sustaining minor injuries.
