A hand grenade was launched on the property of Dragan Mladjović – the distributor of Vita Devoli dairy products and meat products of the company Buquku from Peć in the north, last night in the village of Žerovnica, Mladjović confirmed for KoSSev. He is adamant that the purpose of the attack was to intimidate him because of his involvement with these companies. „I conduct my business honestly, but obviously I inconvenience someone’s business,“ he stressed.
In a statement for KoSSev, Mladjović described the scene he encountered this morning.
„I was at home when, around 2:34 a.m., I heard a detonation, but I didn’t know what it was. It wasn’t until this morning, when I got up around 6, that I saw broken windows on the van, as well as some broken windows on the house. That’s when I realized that something had been thrown there,“ testifies Mladjović.
According to him, from the start, he had no doubt why his property was targeted. He claims that he does deal with politics. In his words, the reason behind the attack was precisely his job of supplying dairy and meat products for the north – as a kind of warning.
„My company started cooperating with the company ‘Buquku’ from Peć, which deals with meat products. I started supplying restaurants. I also work with dairy products from Devoli Vita. And that is all. I have nothing to do with politics. It’s obvious that I inconvenience someone’s business and that they want to scare me. I conduct my business honestly, but it seems that it cannot be done here.“
He confirmed that the police immediately came to the scene this morning and discovered that a hand grenade had been thrown in front of his house.
Moreover, he expressed hope that the perpetrators would be found, as the police told him that there are clues that could reveal who threw the hand grenade.
In addition to the Kosovo police, he also filed a report with the police in Serbia.
Not the first time
Mladjović also recalled the case from December last year, when he was targeted on a Telegram group.
Even back then, Mladjović did not doubt that the reason he was branded a traitor was his cooperation with the Kosovo company.
At the time, he also filed a complaint with the Kosovo police and the police in Serbia, revealing today that the KP should soon prosecute those responsible.
„Even with the earlier case, the Kosovo police have clues as to who they should arrest,“ he said.
