The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kosovo President Hashim Thaci at a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary since the end of the First World War is, even a week later, is causing reactions in Kosovo. Two days ago, the first graffiti appeared in connection with this meeting, while their number and diversity have increased in the meantime.
„The North is not Crimea“ and „Friends with benefits“ were the first pieces of graffiti that appeared in various locations around the student centre and the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Pristina, the Pristina-based Kallxo portal reported at the time.
Other graffiti also appeared in the meantime with the inscription „From Russia with Love“, as well as the inscriptions „Vladimir Thaci“ and „Hashim Putin“. It has not yet been revealed who is standing behind this.
