Kosovo Police pulled over an ethnic Serb A.A. at the checkpoint near the Bistrica bridge yesterday, based on the order of the prosecution in Pristina. The Kosovo Police of the region north confirmed for KoSSev last night that A.A. was released after questioning.

The Kosovo Police confirmed that A.A. was released last night, stating that they still have no information about why he was being questioned.
They underlined that they are not in charge of this case and that investigators from Pristina questioned him in South Mitrovica.
In connection with this case, KoSSev previously reached out to the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police of the Mitrovica-South region, Avni Zahiti.
He referred us to his colleague Ilmi Prekazi, who, however, claims to have no information about this case.
According to unofficial information obtained by the KoSSev portal, which some media outlets also reported in the meantime, A.A. works in the kickboxing club „028“, which was led by M.M. – who was arrested on June 13 in North Mitrovica by strong police forces.
Pristina has linked M.M. with the Civil Protection – which it declared to be a terrorist organization – and the incidents in the north of Kosovo that occurred after the outbreak of the crisis. M.M. is being charged with terrorism, calling for a violent change of the constitutional order and endangering persons under international protection.
