The representative of the KLA veterans, Nasim Haradinaj, said that he is not afraid of the Special Court and that he is publicly acknowledging that he killed Serbian soldiers.
Haradinaj voiced his revolt against the creation of a Court on the Frontal talk-show that is unilaterally dealing with war crimes, Pristina based Insajderi reported.
He said that he was not afraid of such an institution, which, according to him, was unjustly formed and established to judge Albanians, and not Serbs, for acts committed during the last war in Kosovo.
The veteran’s representative said that he and other members of the „KLA“ killed Serbian soldiers and added:
„I killed Serb soldiers every chance I got. I tell my family that I’m sorry I did not kill as much as I wanted to. I’m sorry that they killed my comrades, but I’m glad I killed Serbs,“ Haradinaj said.
The statement coincides with the first visit of Special Prosecutor Jack Smith to Kosovo
This is not the first time, however, that the „number“ of killings is being publicly discussed amongst Kosovo representatives.
Recently, NISMA MP Milaim Zeka, while protesting against the proposal to include Vidovdan and Sretenje on the list of Kosovo state holidays said within the premises of the Kosovo Parliament to a Serbian deputy, „You killed 14 thousand of us, we killed 1400 of you, we couldn’t do more, but we would have ground you to dust“.
