„When the army returns to Kosovo“ graffiti appears in N.Mitrovica; KP opens a case of „inciting hatred“

After the graffiti with the inscription „When the army returns to Kosovo“ recently appeared in Zubin Potok, the same graffiti was sprayed in North Mitrovica. The Kosovo police launched a case of „inciting hatred, division, and intolerance“, the police confirmed for KoSSev.

The graffiti appeared on the soccer field near the „Mihailo Petrovic Alas“ Technical School.

So far, the police have no information as to who made the graffiti, adding that they will come out with more details about this case in the coming days.

In the past few weeks, the graffiti „When the army returns to Kosovo“ appeared in several cities in Serbia proper, Republika Srpska and Montenegro. The same inscription was also found on the fan stands.

The line is actually a verse from one of the versions of the Serbian folk song “ Ječam žnjela“.

In late August, this inscription also appeared in Zubin Potok. The police also opened a case of „inciting hatred, division, and intolerance“.

The KP confirmed today that the investigation into this case is still ongoing, and that they have no new information or suspects.
