„I am sorry that Ambassador Scott has not tried to show his arrogance at some event with President Vucic, because he would be thrown out on his ear from the Government (building),“ the Serbian Minister of Defense, Aleksandar Vulin reacted to the statement of the U.S. ambassador Kyle Scott, who said in the Serbian government building, as Tanjug news agency reported, that Kosovo is an „independent state“.
When asked by journalists today how much hope is there for peace when there is constant pressure on Serbia to talk with the so-called Kosovo government while half of the people who sit there have criminal records or are about to face prosecution, Scott replied:
„The Kosovo government is not so-called – it is the Government of Kosovo, an independent and sovereign country, with its elected representatives.“
The Minister of Defense, Aleksandar Vulin reacted to this statement several hours later, Tanjug also reported.
„I am sorry that Ambassador Scott has not tried to show his arrogance at some event with President Vucic, because he would be thrown out on his ear from the Government, but Serbia could at least see who is fighting for Serbia, and who is only thinking about his lower back?“ Vulin said.
He stressed that Kyle Scott, „in his arrogance, forgot that Serbia is not a colony and that he cannot trample its dignity,“ and at the same time he emphasized that „for such type arrogance people say – the more the pumpkin bean is empty, the more impudent you are.“
„The fact that Kosovo is not a member of the UN proves that it is so-called or, perhaps, Ambassador Scott has started to speak and think on behalf of the United Nations,“ Vulin underlined.
The U.S. Ambassador attended the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the American company Behtel for the project of building the Moravian Corridor which took place at the Serbian Government premises.
