The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, announced that he had requested the current director of the Kosovo Information Agency (KIA) to resign from the post.
In a short announcement and without further details, he states that he asked Kreshnik Gashi to leave the position of director of this institution.
Kosovo media speculate on the reason for the dismissal of Kresnik Gashi.
Gazeta Blic states that Hoti demanded his resignation due to Gashi’s „attempt to steal a safe with official documents in the premises of the Kosovo presidency“.
