Nearly eleven months after the clash in Banjska, one rifle, ammunition and military equipment have been discovered at the Rajska Banja hotel located in this village, as confirmed to KoSSev.
According to the Kosovo Police, a search of the hotel today revealed body armor, an A-47 assault rifle (Kalashnikov), eight magazines, and other military gear.
Police suspect that the found weapon and equipment may be leftover material evidence from the September 24 clash in Banjska.
On that day, a confrontation between an armed group of Serbs led by Milan Radoičić and the Kosovo Police resulted in the deaths of KP officer Afrim Bunjaku and three members of the armed group, while three other Serbs were arrested during the operation.
Hotel was sealed immediately following the Banjska clash and was subsequently taken over by the Kosovo Privatization Agency three months later.
